We technically met through mutual friends, but only every once in a blue moon. Little did we know, we’d been living right around the corner from each other for years! Through college and beyond, we unknowingly crossed paths in the same neighborhoods, just waiting for the right time to catch us. 

That moment came (as it does these days) on Hinge. Elan messaged Julia, and she cooly replied with nothing but her number and a “text me.” and that was that lol.

Our first date happened during the very first week of COVID. We hiked to the top of Mount Wire, then picked up takeout from Elan’s favorite restaurant, Tradition—because, of course, indoor dining was off the table. Turns out doing something outside together, with Jack (our dog), and eating great food is basically both of our favorite things to do.

Since then, life together has been filled with countless dinner dates, movie nights, cuddle sessions with Jack, gravel rides, skiing, and just... doing life side by side. 

Now we get to throw the biggest celebration of all. surrounded by the people we love most.
